Project Summary
The impacted soil was contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons. The targeted
remediation goals were the Alberta Tier 1 hydrocarbon guidelines for fine-grained
surface soil using a natural area land-use. On-site, there was a total of
approximately 5,000 m3 to be treated. The scope of work was to initiate
treatment of the soil by way of bioventilation with air extraction and was
guaranteed (insurance bond) to be completed within a six-month period.

where 3 previous firms had failed.
