Project Summary

The impacted soil was contaminated with petroleum hydrocarbons resulting from an abandoned pipeline. The targeted remediation goals were the Alberta unconditional Tier 1 guidelines for hydrocarbons in a coarse-grained soil and an agricultural land use. On-site, there was a total of approximately 2,000 m³ to be treated. The scope of work was to process material by means of our dual-drive Allu bucket attachment.

Results and Advantages

• Achieved successful remediation for Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl-Benzene and F1 (C₆ - C₁₀) petroleum hydrocarbons.
